UI names Ositelu, Alao, others church history academy fellows

Ogunkilede Joshua The University of Ibadan has on Monday honoured the Supreme Head of The church of the Lord, His Holiness, Most Revd Okikiola Ositelu (PhD); along side with the Supreme Head of the Cherubim & Seraphim Unification Church of Nigeria, His Most Eminence, Dr Prophet Solomon Adegboyega Alao JP; and 92-year-old Professor of Church History from Scotland, Andrew Walls. They were, among others, inducted as Distinguished Fellow of the Nigerian Academy of Church History and Missiology (NACHAM). The Nigerian Academy of Church History and Missiology is an integral part of the Department of Religious Studies, Faculty of Arts, University of Ibadan. The Vice Chancellor of the 71-year-old university, Prof Abel Idowu Olayinka, who welcomed the awardees and their entourage emphasised the importance of religion in nation-building and urged the church to continually pray for the country. Ogunkilede Joshua  Revisiting prophesies  from Holy Mount Tabieorar ... as The church of The Lord marks 83rd edition  Since its reception, the Tabieorar Festival has not only grown in popularity but has become universally adopted by all members of The Church of the Lord.  Celebrated yearly on August 22, members are expected to fast and pray to God within a period of thirteen days. There is even a special song dedicated to the festival – “The Mount Tabieorar Festival has come. Mount Tabieorar is gleeful. The anniversary has come. Meritorious year has come. All hail the King of Glory. Praise to the Lord of mercy.” The first Tabieorar Festival was held at Ogere, Ogun State, on August 22, 1937. INTRODUCTION            The Shekinah glory is the Hebrew name given to the presence of God dwelling on the earth. It mean "he caused to dwell" and it was the term given to a divine visitation of Yahweh. A notable example of the Shekinah glory is the pillar of cloud by day and pillar of fire by night that guided the Israelites through the desert after their exodus from Egypt (Exodus 13:20–22).            The Shekinah glory is a visible manifestation of God in the natural world.
